Design collaboration throughout Pan Pacific London with Laufen

A very contemporary property in the heart of the city – Pan Pacific London

A sleek design aesthetic characterizes Pan Pacific Hotels Group’s first European property by New York-based design duo Yabu Pushelberg, with in-room bathrooms, a spa and public restrooms by Laufen.

The concept behind Pan Pacific LondonThe architecture and interior design of had to honor the Asian heritage of the brand, while creating a very contemporary property that would resonate with its London setting. New York-based design duo Yabu Pushelberg created an eye-catching offering and sleek design aesthetic for Pan Pacific Hotels Group’s first European property.

Still, this isn’t the first hospitality project Laufen has developed with Yabu Pushelberg’s team, their long-standing relationship confirmed by Glenn Pushelberg, who says they’re “happy to be a good partner”. . As global providers of iconic hotel projects, Laufen invests significant time in developing its partnership approach through its inclusive network to actively participate in both the design process and the delivery.

Aesthetic design

The serenity and warmth of Pan Pacific, both in terms of interior and service, impresses guests the moment they enter the hotel lobby. The best attributes of Singaporean hospitality have been incorporated here – from subtle design references to carefully recruited staff members – but with touches of traditional English design throughout.

This natural theme continues in the hotel’s 237 elegantly appointed guest rooms, where a soft color palette, wood paneling, and neutral checkered carpets create a soothing ambience. The expansive marble bathrooms feature separate toilets, walk-in showers and bathtubs, as well as luxury bathroom solutions from Laufen with the Kartell by Laufen wall-hung toilet.

Holistic Hospitality Design

Guest wellness is at the very heart of the hotel, encompassing fitness, nutrition, care and mindfulness. This commitment is evident in the property’s 1,083m² world-class wellness floor. As well as the spectacular 18.5m infinity pool, there are sleeping cabins, a sauna and steam rooms as well as soothing treatment rooms with the Kartell by Laufen sink.

Public sanitary facilities complete the project for Laufen with the design continuity and consistency of the Kartell by Laufen wall-hung washbasins and bowls, alongside the Caprino urinals, as a robust and design-driven solution.

The success of the project for Laufen has been critical to the continued collaboration with key stakeholders including the developer, UOL group. Backed by long-time Laufen ambassadors, Carera Bathrooms Singapore, UOL Group, one of the leading developers in Singapore, has specified Kartell by Laufen wall hung toilets for Pan Pacific London, located at One Bishopsgate Plaza in the City of London . The 237-key luxury hotel is the developer’s flagship in Europe under its wholly owned subsidiary Pan Pacific Hotels Group.
