Now the former beauty queen has revealed her motherhood journey and how she is ensuring to provide a sustainable future for her children, Avyaan and Samaira.

April 22, 2022 marked World Earth Day and in a chat with the ETimes actress, Dia Mirza opened up her heart about how she has always opted for sustainable options for her newborn baby. , Avyan. the Rehnaa Hai Land Dil Mein The actress revealed that she doesn’t use plastic diapers, bottles or even toys for her son. Elaborating on how she kept her home in a plastic-free zone, Dia said:

“For Avyaan, we use nappies made from natural materials without plastic. We have managed to identify and bring home glass bottles and everything we use is chemical free. Even the clothes we we use are from sustainable brands. In a while we will switch to cloth diapers when he is clean. We haven’t bought any plastic toys either. Everything he has is made of fabric, crochet or wood. We’ve also asked our friends and family not to give her things that contain the materials we don’t allow.”

Later in the interview, when Dia Mirza was called a superwoman for raising environmentally conscious children, she shared adorable stories of how her baby boy, Avyaan, loves to touch flowers and leaves and watch the sunset and the birds. In his words:

“It’s so important, isn’t it? One of the things I make a point of doing is getting him to spend time in nature. Take him out into the garden to give him a sensory experience. .Make him stand on the wet grass and touch the leaves and flowers,he likes to watch the birds and watch the sunset with me.I hope this will contribute to the lasting love that I hope he will be able to train with the natural world. In the same interview, Dia mentioned that her stepdaughter, Samaira, had been exposed to different practices since she was a child. “For Samaira, I can’t control the exposure she’s had so far, but she studied environmental issues at school. At home, she watches me work, the way I speak and the choices I’m doing.
